 Thank you Rachel: It sounds exciting! I hate New Year's Eve! I think it's the most overrated date in the whole calendar. Maybe this year will be different!!!

Nothing planned for immediate Pre-Christmas period (apart from Southampton and Bilston, of course), but keep NEW YEAR'S EVE clear.....just waiting on confirmation of an exciting gig.

Any chance of a Chr4istmas gig at Picture Dome?

Kath, looks like smaller venues for the acoustic tour. We saw SH and Cockney Rebel at the Town Hall a few years ago, it was a fantastic night. On stage for 2 hours 20 minutes and never flagged once. If you check some of the venues they are smaller and more intimate - not sure Birmingham (the REAL second city!!) has anywhere suitable sadly. Let's hope Steve's agent is onto it though.

Hi jackpot1, thanks for your response - how about Birmingham Town Hall (SH has been there before and loved the acoustics) or failing that the Symphony Hall is great on sound too - hope Steves' agent is reading this , we badly want SH back in Brum! Please................x

Dear Steve, I just watched the Glastonbury 2010 "Make Me Smile" footage. Sorry, but I didn't like it at all. This song doesn't deserve to be treated like some Sing-Along oldie. Please stay away from the Rubettes-Mud Golden Years scene.

I saw you in 1975 in Bilzen, Belgium (topping the bill) together with my then girlfriend(she died in June 2000). I still remember her smiling, happy face at the intro of "Make Me.."

In October I'll be back. This time with my daughter who's really into "All Men Are Hungry" and "Make Me Smile". Please give us the best evening of our lives.  Cheers, Stefaan

hey Kath, maybe if you recommend a venue in Birmingham, Steve's agent will approach them. I'd like a gig in the Second city too. But can't think of anywhere that matches the others in the list - 4-500 seaters

Great gig. I travelled from Ireland with some friends in my camper and spend week in UK.

For me the Journey's end was an impeccable performance, the whole show fantastic. Got lovely pics and some short videos to add to my collection. Bleeding hearts is a new fav of mine, great live and judging by the band's focus and concentration this is a difficult track to play live.

At the Academy Dublin gig, Debs and Mike suggested I might write a report as I had already decided I was going to the Abbey!

So I have a 2 page piece written, incorporating the full set list if anyone is interested in putting it up! or reading it.

Hello Steve and the band.... What amazing energy the whole show through!!.... as you may have noted ?? I could not hold my notes quite as long ... especially through Sebastian..wow fantasic. A true professional...star.

Big smiles at the end with Sugs...... he did well (sugs),but no comparison vocally.

Had friends at Glasto Abbey on Saturday, said your set was fantastic. Their not really fans, not until now!!! Now they definately are!!

I too lived in Fairlawn Mansions when you were there. I remember well the backyard cricket and football matches with all the kids! It is so good to have someone famous from the old flats.  I live in Sydney, Aus. now, but am in  the Uk in September. I too have thought about knocking on our old door to see if the place lives up to my memories! Maybe I will do it this time, want to join me?!

Yes Mysterious and subtile. I ask myself: Am i prejudiced because i'm such a great Harley fan?. I think the answer is NO. This whole album leads you everytime you listen to new layers and subtile accents. The man must be a musical genius, its the best album i heard over the last decade and maybe longer. Maybe i'm saying something stupid but in my opinion he didn't have to record track 6 "true love..."bcs his own material  is so much higher qualified

No Bleeding Hearts is the one holding my attention all the time, Frankholland. I can't get enough of it. Mysterious is the word.
