Some things in life are more important than others

I have a short story somewhere that was penned by Steve .... I think it may be called "Timeless Flight" but, then again, I may be wrong .... I will dig it out. It is a lot more esoteric than "The Hill And The Hibiscus Flower", trust me!!

I like Steve's weird and wonderful lyrics but getting political in a song doesn't really do it for me. I'd rather be left guessing as to what the hell he's on about!! Communism is an idea, sometimes an evil, that rarely works. Unfortunately in the world that we live in today there are far greater evil's than being 'red'. The song is the weakest track on Timeless Flight for me, maybe for the reasons that Steve himself stated that it pulls no punches in delivering it's message. I like it when lyrically he go's 'the long way round' so to speak.

I dug out the short story. It is actually entitled "Face To Face" and maybe I should have said "erotic" rather than esoteric I knew it had the same title as an album. I just picked the wrong one

Cocnerebel, I can't be the only one hoping you'll share it with us . . .

Could "the big red smell" be a premonition of Covid19 all along?
