A video message would be great, I don't think the support will be the band that supported him however. I'd like to think Steve will get someone with a bit more va va voom.

Would love to see Steve Norman again for starters! Plenty of cool lifelong Bowie/Ronson fans in the business who I'm sure would love to do it.

Love Steve Norman. Dance moves, cravats and sheer enthusiasm. Brilliant.

Now wouldn't that be something, Bowie & Harley on stage together, but as you say Munchkin, highly unlikely. It would be a nice gesture if Bowie could contribute in any small way to the evening, as the Spiders, & especially Mick (imo) contributed so much to Davids early career.

As regards the support band, Woody Woodmansey, along with Tony Visconti and several other musicians have been touring playing Bowie's Man Who Sold The World album in its entirity recently, maybe they could fit the bill.

My guess for one of the special guests would be Marc Almond - he's been part of The Man Who Sold The World tour - and in the past has mentioned being a big fan of Bowie / Ronson as well as Cockney Rebel, mentioning them both in lyrics and a cover of Sebastian.
