ffcforever, his wife Sallie, my husband John and I had a most wonderful time meeting Steve on Saturday. Even though Steve was going on stage in only about an hour he gave his time freely. Everyone who's met Steve will know he's one of the most warm and genuine people you're ever likely to meet.
Thanks Steve. I'm still walking on air.

Oh, and the concert was brilliant.....as was the festival

Here's a picture I took of Steve and the band playing at the festival. The Walled Garden Festival are using it as their Facebook profile picture.........which is pretty cool. Usually I take crappy photo's.

Still haven't come down from the clouds

It was a wonderful evening and a lifelong dream fulfilled.

Jonathan and Stella, you lucky, lucky people. God, I wish I could have been there and been picked, too. I saw your photographs. It just reinforces what a gentleman Steve is. I so wish I could have been at that concert, as well as the Rock for Ronson one. Also, Hull sounded like an amazing, amazing concert. I need a jet-propulsion rocket so I can just zip over whenever there is a cool one-off performance. Count your blessings that you all can easily attend these venues without weeks and months of preparation. I WILL come again. Miss you guys.
