Adam on drums, The Larteys on the usual bits, and Steve Norman from Spandau Ballet on Sax - sounds good to me!

  • Reassuringly expensive.
From Steve's latest diary entry

" And the percussion was missing mostly. Ashleigh shook things and keeps perfect time, but we will have a full-time percussionist on the night, and that might actually be Mr Norman, whose first instrument was drums, before he ever picked up a sax."

I expect Stuart Elliott will be on percussion.

And probably at least one in the orchestra.

So the Lartey Sisters will be joining Steve, the band and the orchestra and choir in Birmingham. Could I politely request that Ashleigh and Faye are reminded to dress appropriately in long black skirts and high-necked ruffled blouses in keeping with the surroundings.
There's no need for eye candy in a Symphony Hall.
