Senior Boarder - I AGREE. FAN BLOODY TASTIC. I say everytime it can't get better.... and it does. Where does all that energy come from?...i think everybody felt 16 again. Not sure who was best pleased with the evening, Steve or the audience!
Not sure about Steve's beard though!! He looked like Seasick Steve, or someone else said - Albert Steptoe - oops. I will always love him anyroad up. I couldnt sleep when i got home so ended up taking a sleeping tablet. Good to be awake now playing Steve's CDs and singing along whilst ironing... La la la.... CAN'T WAIT TIL NEXT TIME.
Julie Brown x :woohoo:
Julie, I agree about the beard. I will always love him anyway, but I think all the beard does is cover up his handsome face. Steve, is there any chance you could shave it off before November? ;)

Hi Julie.
It sounded like a great night... sometimes (well mostly, but you know what I mean) the energy is just SO energized :woohoo:
and MAGICAL...

I hope to get up to Holmefirth in Dec... never made it yet.

A Question:
Do you think we should ALL send Steve Razors? ;)
Jo

P.S
Good read re the gigs.
Thanks out to "therebel" and "trace".
Joanna, you read my mind! :D I vote that he shaves it off. What do the rest of you think?

HI JO,
Get in quick re Holmfirth in December, hundreds of tickets were sold on Friday night, and if you are very quick the Bridge Hotel next door has some single rooms still available.
Regarding Friday night,it was up there in the top 5 Cockney Rebel gigs I have ever seen in around 40 years!! JUST,.....FANTASTIC,EXILERATING,BREATHTAKING,FAULTLESS,(apart from a couple of lyric bloops, which we all love anyway!),HEART-THUMPINGLY IMMENSE!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Where do i start I'am still on a high from friday night and think i will be for a while. It's always nice to meet up with friends(Mike Johnson,Hazel & Jim)and to meet new friends Tracey & Lisa.

What can I say about the night that no one else has already said than it was "Out of this world". Every was in their element both on stage and in the audiance.

A Big thank you to steve for taking the time to signing a t-shirt for my 6 year old daughter, Who I must say was over the moon with it and not taken it off for 2 days.

Looking forward Bilston in November and back to Holmefirth in December. :cheer:

Sorry I didn't rush home and post this (my first review but not first SteveO Gig by any means!) - but we have been on holiday since Holmfirth... and what a start to the holiday!!

Everyone was on top form - Steve, the Band and the faithful crowd. It was great to see a few youngsters there (and not with their parents either!) who had chosen to come to their first gig. Real youngsters I mean, and not just ones (like us) who had forgotten to iron their skins.

Even the weather was superb. Holmfirth is and has always been a very special venue and it brings out the best in Steve for sure.
If the magic could be bottled, it should be available on prescription !!

Looking forward to December 28th and thanks Steve for the Christmas Presie of treating us all to what we already know will be such a special evening.

Can't wait to receive the CD of the Birmingham Concert.. that will be special too.
