What a night that was, what a fantastic night. The excitement in the hall was palpable. We got to our seats just before the performance began. The rain didn't faze me. Steve was unbelievable and I was not aware of him missing any words. Had my rapt attention the entire time. Then, the party afterwords at Jurys Inn, getting to meet all the fans, was SO FREAKING FUN!! We stayed up until 4:00 a.m. I remember The Phantom escorting me to my room as Kathy had retired long ago and was fast asleep. And Kathy won the Golden Raffle!!! Two tickets to the concert of her choice this year. She gave them to me and I chose Bilston.
It's not easy getting from Montana to London. Scott and I have to drive about 6 hours to Calgary, Canada to get a non-stop flight on Air Canada. Still, it will be a 9 1/2 hour flight. We are thinking about leaving early; he wants to show me Banff and Lake Louise, then his sister in Calgary is going to have a special dinner for us with all of the family that can come.
We fly to London from Calgary on October 28th, landing on October 29th. Will stay overnight in London, then head out near Milton Keynes to stay with my longtime friend Ros. Deborah (Pandorah on the website) was able to get us all front row seats at The Stables. Can't wait!! Jo Humphries will be there, and Jimbo, and I'm hoping that The Phantom will be able to attend if he's feeling up to it. Next night, Deborah and Jo will pick Scott and me up and drive us to the concert in Bilston. We hope to get together with as many of you as possible at a nearby pub for a get-together. Jimbo, any suggestions?
Anyway, I got an e-mail from Amazon UK that my CD has been dispatched to Montana. Apparently the DVD will be mailed separately.
Hope you're all well and as excited as I am about getting to see Steve and the band play live again.
Love, Cheri
