lol stella I don't think its a clothes optional kinda do .munchkin1 don't think it matters really you paid your money you wear what you want I think but a few of us are going to do it proper I think ball gowns (not me ) I hasten to add but think I will be in suit shirt and dickie bow ive always wanted to go to the rah and to see mr h there is just a bonus beyond belief so gonna make the effort to look good .

I think people might dress formally for some of the classical events but I've been to a few gigs there and everyone dresses the same as they would for the Apollo or the Academy
