Racing Cars supported Manfred Mann's Earthband during Sept 76.

Cheers Dave ( and everyone else !!) I saw the Earthband then as well, so that's another 2 paired up.

I also attended the Newcastle City Hall gig on 13/2/76 and still have the ticket and programme. Can you believe it cost only £2.50 for the ticket. There is no mention of a support band on either. I cannot remember there being a support band on the night.I also still have a scarf I purchased on the night which has the group name and a picture of the band on it.

Re the 70s tours,I can recall seeing steve at Leeds town hall a couple of times support on one tour was be bop deluxe on one gig and sailor on another tour sadly only got tkt stubs for the April 2nd 1975 gig not sure which was on that date but can recall the crowd booing be bop deluxe a lot I also went to the garden party at crystal palace in1975 with steeleye span lindisfarne etc,supposed to been quadrophonic sound but was very patchy.

If thre's one gig I wish I could have gone to but couldn't it's the Crystal Palace one.
