'you can't always get what you want' has tonight entered the u.k.top 100 download charts at number 13 after less than one day of sales.brilliant news.!!!!

I just downloaded it a few minutes ago, the long version. I initially tried Amazon UK, but they apparently don't have a PayPal option anymore and would not take my credit card because it was not from a local bank. Then I tried Amazon in the US and was able to download it digitally. Is this going to be available in CD form in the US? Anyone know? I'd love to see Steve hit No. 1 again, especially for such a good cause. What is his place in the charts now?

The new UK charts have been announced today. Sadly, the single hasn't made an appearance on the main 'Official Singles Chart Top 100'. It has reached #136.

However, it has performed well on other charts:

#24 on the UK Singles Sales Chart Top 100
#24 on the UK Singles Downloads Chart
#32 on the Scottish Singles Sales Chart
#9 on the UK Top 30 Indie Singles Chart
#2 on the UK Independent Singles Breakers Chart

It reached the Top 10 on iTunes and Amazon. At the time of writing, it is at #85 on iTunes. On Amazon it is currently at #9 on the Albums Chart and #25 on the Songs Chart.
