Hi Stella. I agree in thanking Steve for allowing this post. The Brain Tumour Charity is very close to my heart because my sister passed away from one and my 27 year old daughter is battling a Grade 4 Glioblastoma. I hope your father in law is not suffering too much. I will happily give a donation. Having done the 26 mile Moonwalk a few years ago, I know what a difficult challenge this is.

Thanks Ajsmith for your kind donation. Thanks also to Stewart, Suemol and of course Steve, who also let me post here. I have almost reached my target. I don't think that should take long. Then all I have to do is walk 26 miles.
I'm happy to do it for such a great cause.

Sadly, John, my father-in-law passed away peacefully this morning.
We will be walking this marathon in his memory.
His swift diagnosis and sudden demise have brought home to me that brain tumours do not pick on a type.
It can happen to anyone.
