It is "seriously disappointing", says Steve, that the Best Years tour will not be playing in Scotland in November.
Steve has been urging his agent (as have we all) but the "availabilities" are not there, meaning the halls/theatres the show could be performed in, are simply not available at the end of November. That's the bad news. The good news is that Steve has every intention of making sure the show is performed in Scotland, at least in one venue (Glasgow Concert Hall or Edinburgh Usher Hall might be the obvious best choices)next year. He will bring Duncan back from South Africa and may even resort to self-promotion of the show, as Comeuppance did for Birmingham Symphony Hall and Manchester Bridgewater Hall for the Orchestra and Choir concerts. I hope that explains the way the business works, and our own frustrations, and our own (Steve's) determination that the show will travel to Scotland. When and where are the questions. We are working on it.....RACHEL
