Does anyone else remember an excellent album called 'Second Honeymoon' by a band called De af School? Have managed to buy the original album on CD and I remember how bloody poetic I was 40 years ago! Hah! If only we had all hung on to that!
Yes I do Sue,I bought the album way back....On my visit to Liverpool to catch The Best Years show I visited The Liverpool Museum with fellow Rebel fan Graeme Blake and they were showing a video of Deaf School singing What A Way To End It All....great stuff!!
I loved Deaf School. In fact it was the first live gig I ever attended way back in 1977? at the Central Hall in Chatham. The Babys (lead singer John Waite) were the support. I bought Second Honeymoon and Don't Stop The World and the Babys first two albums.
Always wanted to check in to a hotel as Mr.and Mrs. Simply-Divine.
I still have the Deaf School LPs and the Babys ones and have replaced them on CD.
Enrico Cadillac.......What a name!!

And you were absolutely shocked when I said I'd never heard of them Stew. Thankfully I always carry smelling salts and you managed to come round in time for the 'Best Years...' gig. What a time!
