I bought my tickets back in May so I wasn't eligible to enter the Meet and Greet either. Oh the irony. It seems the more eager/desperate one is to see Steve the less chance you have of meeting him. Struggling to get my shift at work changed to get there for an early start as I wanted. John's interested in seeing Chris Difford and Band (ex Squeeze). Praying for some decent weather but may well come armed with an emergency poncho.

I am sure we will find each other Stella. I agree with John, seeing Chris Difford and his Band would be good as well. I might be able to get away early and not teach that day but I don't think I can get Sallie away from work until 4pm and it's probably an hour and half from here to Robertsbridge.

Also looking forward to seeing TRB, as the last time I saw them was 1979 I think and that 'was a lifetime ago!'

Surprise, surprise have been successful in a ballot to 'meet and greet' Steve at the Walled Garden Festival tomorrow. If somebody knows Stella Day contact number can they get her to contact me on FB!

ffcforever, his wife Sallie, my husband John and I had a most wonderful time meeting Steve on Saturday. Even though Steve was going on stage in only about an hour he gave his time freely. Everyone who's met Steve will know he's one of the most warm and genuine people you're ever likely to meet.
Thanks Steve. I'm still walking on air.

Oh, and the concert was brilliant.....as was the festival
