Great gig last night at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall.....Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel performing their 1975 album 'The Best Years of our Lives'. Great to see the reuniting of Steve with guitarist Jim Cregan, keyboard player Duncan Mackay & drummer Stuart Elliott, all together for the first time since 1976. I'm sure bassist George Ford, who died too young, was there in spirit. As it was not only the first time they'd been together for so long, but also the 1st gig of the tour, it took about 10 mins to click, but when it did it was a triumph. Also I must give a special mention to long time and still current Rebel Barry Wickens and the MonaLisa Twins whose voices and musicianship were a great addition. Also great to meet up with old friends and fellow SH fans from around the country. Let's do it again.
