I know that in 1978 Steve Harley bought a house in Los Angeles and stayed there for 4 years but in 1981 he married Dorothy - I would really like to know it he got married in Los Angeles or London?

Also what year did he move to Suffolk? I saw him on the One show but it didn't say when he moved from Deptford. I had a flat in Depford around 1983 but people didn't seem to know much about Steve.

Any information about this would be greatly appreciated.

From what I gather, Steve moved to Los Angeles in early 1978, not long after Hobo with a Grin was completed. He returned to London at the end of the same year and began working on The Candidate album in early 1979.

Steve married in London - the excellent harleyfanzone.com did have a scanned collection of old cuttings, one of which from 1981 confirmed this.

Not sure on the second question, perhaps someone might have an answer?
