Well it’s been a whole year without my favourite performer/ songwriter.
It has left a hole in my life and in my heart.
Steve has been in my life since I was 14 and I now have 4 grandchildren.
I feel life will never be the same now he has left us.
He went far too soon. He had so much else to do.
Life can be cruel.
Anyway I want to thank Steve for all those fabulous years. His music his energy his charisma and hundreds of live performances.
I will miss him forever.

Right.
The last time I met Steve was April 23rd 2023 before the last Dutch concert. Than I saw the show and waited for him to leave the venue. He was so kind, already sitting in the band van, to sign an old 7'' for me. That, in the dead of night, was the last time I saw him and spoke to him.
