There is a cd with full orchestra and big Choir, Steve playing "Sebastian and Make me Smile" recorded in Antwerp belgium during the Proms 24,25 & 26 October 1991 and followed by 1 night in Rotterdam holland for an audience of 65.000

I think,if i remember well, Ian Nice (Steve's Brother ) was doing the Sebastian intro on grand piano amd John miles did the guitar solo on MMS, People got out of their mind

So Steve between Orf ( Carmina Burana) ,R Strauss,Mozart, Gershwin,Verdi !!

Randy Crawford and Roger Hodgson (Supertramp) who played that evening didn't make it to the CD , Just Steve with both of his songs with Fantastic Classical Orchestra

Pity in the end there was an encore with all artists doing hey jude(beatles)

I feel very lucky having this proms on video as well, SO GOOD

A prom(s) is a musicfestival in Europa in which classic music is combined with some popmusic. They try at least 350 years of music history to play with full orchestra and choir, each concert ending with "land of Hope and Glory".

The european version is based on "as far as i Know", the Last Night Of The Proms" in England. "The Last Night of the Proms is the traditional closure of the Proms which is a serial classical concerts ( with community singing) in "The Royal Albert Hall " in London.
This version ends with "God save the Queen"

In belgium it started in 1985
in holland in 1991

Over the all these years some very known artists did participate as:

Alan Parsons, Sting, Joe Cocker, Deborah Harry, James Brown, Roger Daltrey, Midge Ure (ultravox),Meat loaf, gary Brooker, Chrissie hynde, Simple Minds, UB40, Live and Paul Young for example.
