Hi there everyone, this is my first post, and I hope I've come to the right place.

I was a SH&CR follower in the 1970s and I am now attepting to rebuild my teenage record collection on CD.

I have managed to buy remastered versions of The Psychomodo and Timeless Flight and what wonderful memories they bring back!

However, I have had the remastered edition Best Years Of Our Lives on back order from a specialist record shop since January and there is still no sign of it turning up. Staff at the shop think it has been deleted and may never be pressed again.

So am am appealing to you good people on this forum ...

Can you help me out?

I am pretty certain they have the rights, leased from EMI who own the Masters, of several of Steve's albums.
If not, then go to Amazon, as I believe it's still being pressed and sold.

I had no idea that BGO existed and I wonder why the independent record store I've had Best Years Of Our Lives on order from didn't use it either.

It is a record shop's job to know about these things you would have thought.

Very soon, BGO will be £9.99 better off!

Full marks to BGO. I can recommend it personally. I ordered Best Years late on Wednesday afternoon and the CD dropped through my letterbox on Saturday morning.
