MAELITTA its a british thing ,in the late 70s to early 80s there used to be a very popular childrens television programme called TISWAS ,(theres probably somthing on YOUTUBE) and on this programme there was a character called THE PHANTOM PHLGAN PHLINGER (meaning phantom flan flinger)who used go round every week throwing flans (pastries) in peoples faces ,and as its traditional in british humor to be ironic ,i call THE PHANTOM the PHLGAN PHLINGER ,,somtimes british humor is difficult to understand ,but i hope this helps
