Back in the day when 'Face to Face' had just been released, I, being a young teenager' was having girl friend problems. She, Bernadette (if I remember correctly), was giving me a hard time on the telephone. As she nagged away, I put the phone to the speaker of my stereo which was blasting out 'Mad Mad Moonlight' just as the lyrics 'I said get lost, disappear, get out of my life' were being repeated.
By the time I put the phone back to my ear Bernadette had gone, never to be seen or heard from again.
I wondered if anyone else had ever utilised any of Steve's lyrics to dump a girlfriend or maybe even used them for something a bit more romantic?

Never hapened to me, but very funny story !
