Well how long is a piece of string chaps!
Personally I love Judy Teen as it reminds me of my youth and the young girls, carefree times and my Lambretta back in 73 or 74 it was the year I first saw CR at Plymouth Guildhall and that was a great period in my memory.
In 74 and til 1987 I was a pro touring DJ and worked everywhere supported the Buzzzcocks, Clash, KC and the Sunshine Band, Motorhead and Madness +++++ always worked Steve into any gig
Good days
Then moving swiftly on to my move to Bath and my pub Sam Wellers which was the unofficial dosshouse for Jon, Kim etc (and the troops from Basildon and Exeter) - they often kipped at the pub on the floor with a bottle of scotch - great times and I think I was up to 30+ gigs at this point.
In about 1992 I insisted that Yes You Can was "on the pub jukebox" as the default disc. A Dutch barmaid bought it for me in Holland and brought it back -
I met my American Missus here and Irresistible was playing on the juke box when we got talking so I love that song too as we are still together and we got married on June 1 1993 in Bath.
We had three brilliant buskers play in the pub at our reception and they played, Judy Teen, Mr Soft and Steve's retirement track
I love Death Trip too just the sheer drama of it - even though Steve mildly chatized me once for yelling out Death Trip too much (hey I was well oiled)
Fast forward my Missus and I were apart from March - October this year and I just could not listen to Safe or What Becomes of the Brokenhearted .....
When I met her at the airport we laughed and cried and sang Irresistible along with Madness "Our House"
Evertone at the airport thought we were nuts - nah! just happy and still in love.
