Really enjoyed last Sundays Sounds Of The 70's, ( well worth a listen check out BBCIPLAYER).Johnnie's show is always a great listen and those Best Years tracks were real icing on what is always a very nice slice of cake! Some of the tracks played I don't think I've heard on the radio since 1975,they still sounded as fresh as a daisy and Johnnie obviously loved playing em!
Hope one day he will feature Hobo With A grin..now there's an album for you.....

This was a worthy tribute to a great artist and a great album.
JW's respect for Steve's writing was evident in every word. It was a thoughtful, carefully-worded piece as presented by the legendary broadcaster. All SH needs now is a Later With Jools . . . . .don't believe he has ever appeared on it. Can anyone correct me?
