Just wanted to advise friends on here of something amazing that has happened today!
"3 years ago as many of you are aware my Son Jack was in a Coma. Many of you who read this board said prayers at the time, wrote, rang and sent messages of support in many different ways, they all helped and continue to do so.And support that I and my family have received in various way's is something we will never forget.
Today I walked around the block here at home with Jack using no aids/crutches or anything!!!!!!!
He still lost his balance here and there and still has a million miles to go and still needs massive support but you know what... I and he Know that ONE DAY it will be fine.
Every day I thank God for helping Jack and if you say a prayer over the next few days, please put in a little word for a brave and beautiful young man,I think someone up there is listening to all the words that have been said to him on Jacks behalf over the last 3 years from many many people.
Thank you, love and peace Stewart xx

Stewart .... what wonderful news :-) Tears of joy here and elsewhere. Your son, so cute and inquisitive and clever since he was a wee boy, is so very very brave. Just today you told me that he was still using sticks and now this!!! Fantastic news and all else pales into total insignificance.

Jack is so lucky to have such brilliant parents. In the light of what life has thrown at you and Debs you have every right to be bitter and yet you are both so patient, so philosophical, so lovely.

And you are so lucky to have Jack because he will always be a credit to you. A special young boy who WILL overcome. Because I know that you will never give up on him.

He will always be a sausage and he knows it ;-)

And I know how important the lyrics of Steve's songs, and the personal support of Steve in the bad times, have been.

Our cathartic discussions that afternoon in Amsterdam over a few beers so many years ago seems so far away but it still gives me encouragement Stew, and I hope it does for you too.

Much love to you all.

Mike

Stewart, I knew nothing of what you and your wife have been experiencing regarding your son, Jack. Just so you know, I have said a heartfelt prayer for him, and will continue to do so each night. God bless you. I'm so glad he is showing such improvement!
