I don't want to put a downer on the possibility of a live cd but why can't we get one of the Full Band? There's been 2 or 3 'acoustic' live albums already. All excellent in their own right but if ever there was a time to release one of the full rock band with the exciting new setlist surely this is it? I'm trying to place when the last non acoustic live album did come out.Is my mind playing tricks or was it Face to Face 1976??This current band that's clocked up many many years now with Steve deserve to have their talent and dedication rewarded with a live album that kick's #### and gives all of us Rebel fans an early Christmas present!!

I was given the impression at the time that Holmfirth New Years Eve was recorded, maybe he will cull tracks from a few shows which include the full band, your quite right about Face To Face being the last full band live on cd,did'nt give it much thought but apart from the live and unleashed which was Brighton and Northampton shows from '89 and were really crap it's been all accoustic, must admit the Jazz Cafe one as ok but this current line up deserves showcasing how good they are.

Steve records shows quite often, but not with the serious outboard equipment used for, say, Face To Face in the 70s.
The shows today are recorded onto CD from the front of house mixing desk, and often, depending on the acoustics of the hall, the mix on CD is not good enough by Steve's standards to release - even though the mix etc might have been as good as usual to the people actually in the venue.
However, Steve has been raving about the sound of the Harrogate CDs - it was a long show, and comes on three CDs, so he will go into a top studio and edit.....This might well be available on-line, in our SHOP in a month or so (don't hold me to that!). Rochester Cathedral will also be recorded for a Live acoustic CD - as well, not instead of! Thanks for all your suggestions etc...always welcome.
Re the Band CD, Live, can anyone suggest a title?

Was at the Harrogate show and the set list, atmosphere, performance of the band was quite brilliant, the highlight of the show for me was Cavaliers, never a lover of the song but Harley was awesome,as for a title, how about "Over To You Boys",bit of a nod to a fine band.
