It was sadly 34 years ago today that one of Steve's friends died in that tragic car crash on Barnes Common!

I still wonder what it would have been like to have both of them on stage together!

A thought to Marc Bolan's memory too ...

He actually never played with Steve Harley ?

marc played with steve on the 'amerika the brave' track,and also i have a recording of steve singing on marc's track 'dandy in the underworld'.
rip marc bolan,and thoughts to his widow gloria jones,and his son zolan.

And let's not forget his other son Rolan,Gloria was backing singer on tracks on Hobo With A Grin,she sang the original Northern Soul classic Tainted Love,Harley only became good friends with Bolan on the last couple of years of his life and Mirror Freak is a song wrote about Bolan who got his name from his favourite singer Bob Dylan,first two letters of christian nane Bo and last three of surname Lan.

Actually, what you say - paul - about Rolan Bolan reminded me I have a picture with him and Steve Harley nicely posing together. I like this photo.
