For what it's worth I don't like Marc Almond's rendition of the song. He's almost monotone.
Ditto that........ Mr Harley EVERYTIME.

Fascinating.
The Greek Superstar; The Far Corporation (Frank Farian), Yvonne Keeley's sister Patricia, and now the delightful Marc Almond, all covering Sebastian.
Are there any others, apart from those four, that anyone can point us to?

Heh, I like the chant one. The other one seems a little...shallow and flat, but, I think everyone should cover a Steve Harley song, so go get um tiger!

Makes me wish I had a single musical abiltiy or that I didn't sing like a cat being stepped on!

Ana. If you like the "chant" version of Sebastian you might like this which I find equally irritating.

This song made No 25 in the charts in 1966.
If you can't say something nice don't say nothing at all.
