Just thought I'd share a little good news with you, considering the mess the country appears to be in, especially within the Private Sector: Just opened the post at our office, and one Christmas card for Steve was addressed as follows:
To STEVE HARLEY (OF COCKNEY REBEL)
LIVES NEAR ON THE SUSSEX/ESSEX BORDERS
That's it, all that was offered to the sorting office (where??).
A decent person at some sorting office somewhere has added "Clare" with an arrow between "near" and "on" in red ink, and suggests "SUFFOLK" for "Sussex". And finally, "TRY SUDBURY".
It came from John in Huntingdon, and somehow it reached us - and will reach Steve later. Thought I would share that with you...!
