Rachel has put this in the guestbook....

RachelPAtoSH: Steve in Sunday Telegraph
Steve is scheduled to appear in the Sunday Telegraph tomorrow (29th), in the Discovery section (Travel pages) - My Kind Of Town Rachel

Great stuff this should sell those last 93 tickets (last count sat. @ 1.30pm),as hopefully there will be a mention of the gig of the year somewhere in there.
;)

  • Reassuringly expensive.
Amalfi Coast of course!

You can read it here on line if you don't want to brave the rain to buy a copy.

Steve makes Amalfi sound great.
I haven't seen nearly as much of Italy as I would like to.

Although I do feel that not going out after dark is a shame, the evenings are when the Italians are at their best, promenading in their best clothes and chatting animatedly as they stroll along. And their sense of family is brilliant, too, all generations together in a way we don't often see in Britain anymore.

Steve was quoted without the full sentence. He knows the town very well after dark, of course. They eat out in the town regularly, in small trattoria and cafes. The paper had only so much space...!
