i'm always checking out e-bay,and have bought quite a few things,I have set of badges,each one a different albumn cover,I got a mug just recently too,and various mag articles that i've missed,have just recently bought a couple vynyl l.p's which he has featured on.would never buy anything with signature on,already have 4/5 of the real thing.and as you say,you can tell the difference.glynisx

Loved reading your post Deb, took me back to several places. We are gonna have to clear this scarf thing up between us once and for all. I am not the keeper of 'your' scarf, I am the keeper of MY scarf as you will acknowledge when you see it in Birmingham. Glad you've got another one though. x

Hi Deb, i enjoyed reading your trip down memory lane. I also lost my scarf from my first cockney rebel concert. Mine was a yellow and black silk one. I can't remember if i got it in Cardiff or Bristol, afraid my memory is rubbish. Having moved about alot with my dad and then myself being in the RAF. I just remember that my little room in the WRAF block where i lived was covered in Steve Harley posters and my scarf was stuck on my wall. I have been hooked on Steve's music ever since. I just can't wait until the concert in november. Well reading your story has made a boring sunday afternoon Happy. thanx

thank you pete. Yes I took my bowler Hat along with me, I had 2 actually ! I found them in the oxfam shop in station rd in Harpenden, I was so excited when I found them , they were just sat in the window, and I just had to have them. I remember one of them was from Dune n co's or done n co's ! something like that, and the other one was from some exclusive place in oxford street, cant remember the name now but it had a red satin lineing and had gold writeing in side with the size ! one was a 10 1/2 and the other was 11 or something ! I know one of them was too big! I remember I nearly fell in that moat, pond thing round the out side , pratting about in me big Baggy strides and my Golden top made of satin ! :) whilst queing to get in !I was trying to see the fish that were in it ! pete did you go to the first one there ? think it was the 26th May , or the second when they came back in the june ?

But I didn't actually bid on it, I just saw it and said , oh wow ! look at that. I WANT IT ! and someone else got if for me coz they knew I'd lost mine years ago :-( I'd told them the story and they watched it and bid last thing ! Sorry you missed out :(
but as I said its not the one I lost back in 75, mine was Teal blue Blue and white and had a pic of all the band on each end.

see you in November :silly: I'll be wearing it !
