On second thoughts.....

1. Butterfly collector - The Jam
2. Clampdown - The Clash
3. Watching TV - Roger Waters
4. Waltzing along - james
5. Ocean Rain - Echo and the Bunnymen
6. Love of my Life - Queen
7. Jewish Princess - Frank Zappa
8. All the madmen - David Bowie
9. Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
10. Take a walk on the wildside - Lou Reed.

Damn, I can't even choose my favourite song from each group, let alone an all time top 10!

Difficult, but here goes:

Make Me Smile.
Best Years of Our Lives.
Do What you Gotta Do - Four Tops.
Bringing on Back the Good Times - Love Affair.
Long Cool Woman - Hollies.
Bell Bottom Blues - Cream / Eric Clapton.
I Stand Accused - Isaac Hayes.
You Gave Me a Mountain - Elvis Presley.
Lady Rose - Mungo Jerry.
Anything Bowie (couldnt decide).

All in no particular order except MMS which has to top the list. I could have made it ten Harley songs easily and was struggling to leave Tumbling Down, All the Men are Hungry, Ridng the Waves and Journey's End out.

In no particular order. And totally dependent on the mood I am in at the time of choosing.

Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Gimme Shelter - The Rolling Stones
Black or White - Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel
Some Fantastic Place - Squeeze
Snortin' Whiskey, Drinkin' Cocaine - Pat Travers
Heavy Load - Free
Ooh La La - Faces
Still In Love With You - Thin LIzzy (Live & Dangerous Version)
Sister Morphine - Ren Harvieu
Crazy - Alice Russell
Fool To Cry - The Rolling Stones

Yep, that is 11 as well.

Slightly off topic for this thread, but had to let some steam oof about this, over at nme poll, they've got 1 going for greatest icon of last 60 years, at semi-final stage, the 4 "icons" left to vote for are, David Bowie (fair enough), John Lennon (no problem there), now for the last 2, unbelievably, alex turner (who?) & liam gallagher(unbe-bloody lievable) ok, I know its all down to personal choice but a vote for Icon of last 60 years, where the hell is Jagger, Bolan, Harley, Ferry, Mercury, If you have to have a Gallagher why not the 1 with a bit of talent, Morrissey, Elton John, Kate Bush, almost anyone who's sang a song instead of those last 2 surely!!!!!

Anyway, whilst I'm here another top 10
1. Always Crashing In The Same Car. - Bowie.
2. Tumbling Down. - Cockney Rebel.
3. Zoo Station. - U2.
4. One More Cup Of Coffee. - Dylan.
5. Paranoid Android. - Radiohead.
6. The Teachers Are Afraid Of The Pupils. - Morrissey.
7. Sartorial Eloquence. - Elton John.
8. Sirius/Eye In The Sky. - Alan Parsons Project.
9. Paradise City. - Guns 'n' Roses.
10.All The Young Dudes . - Mott The Hoople.
