Just browsing through nme website, who are holding a poll to discover readers all time favourite song, during mags 60 years of existance, thought, if its good enough for nme, its good enough for users of this fine website, so here goes my all time top 10 favourite songs;

1. Heroes - Bowie
2. Sebastian - Cockney Rebel
3. Hurricane - Dylan
4. If There Is Something(live) - Roxy Music
5. Rebellion(Lies) - Arcade Fire
6. With Or Without You - U2
7. Go Your Own Way - Fleetwood Mac
8. Complete Control - The Clash
9. There Is A Light... - The Smiths
10.The Dangerous Type - The Cars

Of course, so many classics have been released over the years, most peoples top 10 would probably change over time, but by & large that selection has been with me most of my life, & those songs are always up there or thereabouts whenever I compile any top 10 list.

I guess the easiest way to do this is choose just one song from my favourite artists, and probably not in any particular order, apart from the first three.

All Men Are Hungry - Harley.
Station To Station - Bowie.
Life's A Gas - Bolan.
A Love You Can't Survive - Richard Thompson.
Rosie - Fairport Convention.
Messin' With The Kid - Rory Gallagher.
Immigrant Song - Led Zep.
Jack U Off - Prince.
What Makes A Man - Marc Almond.
Wind Up - Jethro Tull.

Yeesh, some damn fine lists guys. I smell some mix CDs being born. I think I'll just do it by songs that won't go the hell away in my life. In a good way of course.

New Orleans is Sinking- Tragically Hip
Cavaliers- Steve Harley
Friend is a Four Letter Friend- Cake
Touched- Vast
Swamp Thing- The Chameleons
Long Cool Woman- The Hollies
Lee- Moxy Fruvous
Evangline Waltz- BeauSoleil (hells yeah Zydeco)
The Mountains Win Again- Blues Traveler
She's An Angel- They Might Be Giants.

My list is really depressing songs aside from The Hollies and The Hip....

PS: psychomenagerie- OMG The Cars. I don't know what it is about their music but they make me super emotional and I DON'T KNOW WHY.
