First memory TOTP Judy Teen Hooked ever since!!! Has anyone got that anywhere. Searched high and low. Would love a copy.

Thank goodness some of you agree with me about 'The Ritz' I have only heared him play it once from the many concerts I have been to but for me it is his greatest one. At the risk of being thought 'odd' I actually perfer it to Sebastian (I know shock horror) The song got me through college and I also play it on a loop.(Sounds great with a bottle of wine lights out and a candle lit!!!) I haven't got a decent live version which I would love.I have told my husband that I would like that at my funeral.
Great to at last be able to talk to like minded people. Great web site

My rebel memories date back to February 10th 1974, when I first saw Cockney Rebel on BBC2's "The Old Grey Whistle Test". They were singing "Hideaway". I was rebellious, and had announced to my parents that now that I was 16, my 16th birthday being a few days before, I could do as I pleased and was going to stay up and watch this usually off-limits TV programme. I watched, and I was smitten.......and all these decades later, I still am!!!!!! Happy rebel memories indeed! B)

These memories are really great to read - I first saw Steve and cockney rebel at Hammersmith in '75, I think they played 3 sold out nights, taken by my older sister, she was 19 and I was 15. She screamed at one point, and sang along. I "stole" her copy of Psychomodo soon after that! Still got it, and still play it, on vynyl!!What a star Steve is, and congratulations on the Classic Rock award.
