Hmmm,

list of all the British singles which sold million+ over the last 60 years. No 'Make Me Smile'. Sacre bleu!

Double sacre bleu!!! still, looking through that list I'd rather stick needles in my eyes than listen to most of them, so what does that tell us about the Great British record buying public, the same as the most watched TV shows, the best selling newspaper(& I use that word very loosely), generally, the more popular in this country, the bigger pile of SH*TE!!!!!

At least you HAVE Steve in your country! I still think he only needs exposure to make it in the US. Plus, these concert tickets are getting awfully expensive for me! Count your blessings. :)

Pretty certain in 1993 on the old radio5, Johnnie Walker presented SH with an award for one million sales of Make Me Smile live on air....
SH also sang live on the same show a solo version of The Lighthouse!! rather good from memory! :)..another one for a future Box Set hopefully ;)

Of course, this is for British sales only! Internationally he must have blitzed through the 1m sales mark easily! Probably still selling nicely on iTunes as I write.
