Of course Sebastian,Death Trip,Ritz and Tumbling Down are going to sound pretty special with the full orchestra and choir. I'm almost as excited to hear Crazy Raver and Singular Band played live for the first time since 1974. Yes,i repeat...38 years ago.Older than a lot of our young fans!!

Like a lot of people on here I have been replaying the two albums. They sound especially good on my new 'record player'. I've never noticed the tambourine in Judy Teen before :S .

Anyway, my most anticipated somg, th eone that will surely benefit most from orchestra and choir is.... Death Trip.

Which leads me to a question. My copy of Human Menagerie is an iTunes download. My vinyl copy is in the loft somewhere and all the lyric sites omit. So, what exactly are the lyrics during the orchestral / choral section? All these years I've been singing something, but I doubt very much that it's the right words.

I'll be annoying enough people next week when I'm bellowing along without it being the misheard unintelligible rubbish that it will be without knowing.

Cheers if you can help me !

According to the sleeve on my Vinyl copy:

We'll grow sweet Ipomoea
To make us feel much freer
Then take a pinch of Schemeland
And turn it into Dreamland
"Softly Lautrec," she whispered in awe
"Build me a picture of children at war"

Is that what you mean?

No the bit where the choir are going full tilt. Something like (and I'll have to reveal the daft misheard lyrics I've been mis singing all these years)..

All the girls say dum did a diddy dum
You'll take some diddy dum
dum dum dum

and then repeat several times.

Put it on, you'll know what bit a mean. Lyrics not on the sheet.

I'm really building myself up for some ridicule here I think.

Hey Lev, you make it look like a Des O'connor song!! I know we've had this question before and the general concensus is,
All the boys say run like a chicken man
You'll take some lickin' man
son.son.son.

I have to admit I thought it was something completely different from that. Ah well, you live and learn eh.

See you all in Birmingham. x
