Really like these live performances despite the fact we're into my least favourite musical decade!. Did the 'Race Game' ever appear on a Steve Harley album or single?? A question for Stewart perhaps.

Some set list on that Rock City show, also played live were I Can Be Anyone and I Can't Even Touch You before they were released as an A and B side in early 1982,let's hope there's more to come...
The Race Game has never been released on an album or single. In 1983 Steve told The Racing Post that " He has a new song called The Race Game, which will appear on a new album due early next year.the song is about The Brixton Riots, using racing imagery to make it's point". He also told The Racing Post "That he wants to produce a TV Series called The Race Game" and "There will be 5 or 6 episodes each concentrating on one aspect of the business"
Was The Race Game ever recorded? A question for Mr Harley perhaps..

I recognise the photos used for these songs. They were taken by Neil Reedy, and the rest of the set are on my site. It's a real treasure listening to this 80's stuff. Roualt, whoever he/she may be, has a fantastic collection for sure.

Heaven - I have waited so long to hear 'the race game' again; it would be great to see it performed again someday.

Any other tracks from that Rock City gig would be fantastic.

PS - hi PeterJH, where can I find your website?
