I went alone :( . Husband had left on motorbike in the morning with my baby boy (aged 16)to tour the Black Forest. Had half a mind to give Greenwich a miss really. It was miserable being on my own but it was a fan-bleedin-tastic set! Left just after 10.30 because I had that "Ladybird ladybird (fly away home)" feeling I am so often plagued with.....being a mother of nine. I grabbed Steve's used water-bottle from the front of the stage (God knows why.....you can't create a clone from a bit of spittle can you?) and then walked away from the venue feeling like Cinderella fleeing from the ball at midnight. I wanted to rush back. I could hear the echoes of Love's a Prima Donna in the distance as I walked towards Greenwich Station. All was fine when I got home and then I realised I'd probably missed Tumbling Down.....and Make Me Smile. I'll be back. And Steve, the beard looks great!! xx

I agree with you Stella about the set, it was the best in a long time!!Didn't like the bass player though. It was nice of him to mention you!!! He didn't do tumbling down so you didn't miss it :) Cant wait for the next one not sure which one it will be for me! Oh and the beard??? Nah uncle Albert springs to mind.

What's not to like about Lincoln (the bass player)? I think he's lovely!

Did he mention me? What?

Yes. Now I think I'm crazy. Were you there Joanna? Next time I'm going to wear a name badge!

BTW. I did have a missed call from home when I checked my phone for the time before I left.

That only added to my anxiety.

It DID turn out to be urgent.

We had almost run out of toilet roll!
