just been watching the bbc news and one direction make the main headlines with trafalger square full of teens for sum god damned awefull filmy thing about them . rewind 7 hours to dinner time whem my daughter was shopping in town with my grand daughter getting a few things ready for back to school only a couple of weeks left now so what do you want . at this point I should say at only six and a bit kids normally want the same as all their friends so when the subject of what school bag do you want one direction nah err pepa pig no ben 10 don't like that anymore so what do you want then awe mum can I have a steve Harley one ( yes I have had an influence on my family )but to say I was gobsmacked when I was told this is an under statement
but it got me thinking how many more children need to realise theres more to music than the rubbish out there at the moment . a very proud grandad indeen now lets all infect our children and grandchildren with the Harley virus and spread the word domination is ours well steves actually . just a bit of fun but so good to know that harleyism is still running in the family

I Have spent the last 2 hours looking for any sort of steve harley bag on the internet.I Said to her do you have a back up one you wuld like just in case I cant find a steve harley bag.I had to laugh at her reply " No Mum i'll just carry my things in my hands then"

It's took me two day to get her out of her Steve harley T-shirt and have been talked into letting her send a thank letter for her signed top. (just not sure where to send it)

Grandkids are great, aren't they? I like to think they keep me young.
