Not sure I get the fuss about signed stuff that wasn't signed personally.
I love it when I can get a CD, ticket or whatever signed, but that's more about meeting the signer, maybe a short chat or a quick hello. I like to get "to Mick" or something, so the signing is less generic. Obviously this means it would be harder to flog, but seeing as I'm not flogging anything anyway I don't care.
I just find it baffling that people would pay for a signature they didn't witness and, whether authentic or otherwise, could have no real personal meaning.
But that's just my take on it.
