Its music related , l first heard about the recording on here through what Steve wrote, so l think its permisable. I live in Kent and local newspaper carried a story on the recording, okay it bought it to the attention of everyone that read it, which is good, there were no links included, and is it bad reporting by not mentioning the song writers name, who his friend is, and ......what do others think ? is it me? ..........visit kentonline to see the article. As l say its probably me.....

Don't know about the Kent paper, Malcie5, but from the video I spot Paul Rogers, Paul Carrack, Mica Paris, a coupleof Wags, I think, THINK, that's Hayley Westenra doing a line....Robin Gibb seems to ahve turned up too late to get a lead line though!
Good song and a great cause.

What it was was that the local rag covered the story of the recording of the song , but it seemed to credit an awful lot to the local guy music mogul (cant find his name now) who was talking over the idea in a pub with the guy that wrote the song
no mention of his name, and then a quote from the said local guy about song should do well and outdo x factor in xmas charts. It seemed to me that it was bad reporting as it did not mention any other person in the organizing of the recording apart from him, who apparently arranged Abbey Road
