I have been a fan since 1974 (Judy Teen), whilst at school in the North of England (I moved alone to Oxfordshire, in late 1984). Massively looking forward to seeing and hearing the band (for me, the sixth time) at Cheltenham on 19 December 2022! I am hoping that (maybe) Stuart (Elliott) will be playing (though accept that he may not?)

Had the same, or a similar feeling with Cockney Rebel (both 'Marks' I and II), in 1974, as I had done with Roxy (Music) in 1973 (Streetlife) and a few years later, with Split Enz (yours and theirs, remain my favourite three bands). What's on offer is more than just melody (though melody is vital) and strong lyrics...

Back in '75, I was influenced by your hairstyle Steve - on the Human Menagerie cover, and from then, adopted a centre-parting (a bit of a 'Mirror Freak', was I). I proudly maintained my Rebel and Roxy sensibility, amongst the onslaught of Northern Soul (which I also thought was cool anyway).
