Hi what turntable is it and they can all be fixed just need to know where in your locality to go - the internet opens up so many possibilities it makes the world tiny! I source a lot of my Rock-Ola Juke Box bits and bobs from somewhere near where the factory was all those years ago - probably someone who use to work there before they stopped making them for vinyl!

I know there is a time difference of around 6/7 hours so when you're rising it's around four in the afternoon here I think dependent on where you are - let me know what area you live in, the make and model of the turntable and if you want it fixed - are the amp and speakers still working - and I will scour around your area for a repair specialist!

Listening to Timeless Flight as I write! - takes me back to the Empire Pool, Wembley gig 1976 with the white robe - OMG is that really 35 years ago!

(Am I old at 52 - I was 17 then and at college studying Economics!)

I'm old, too, but I don't feel it! I'll have to look at the turntable to see what kind it is. It hasn't been hooked up for years and years. I still have the amps; they serve as tables for my plants and pictures of my cats. ;) Don't know if they work, either. I really appreciate your comments. Are you going to any of Steve's shows this week?

Well, please say hello to The Phantom for me tomorrow and don't forget to tell us what you and Steve talk about when you meet him. It's so exciting!!! :D Hope you get to meet some of the other fans, too.

Don't you sleep? What time is it there? Sacrilege to use amps and tuners for a plant table and for pictures of cats? Dare not ask about the speakers - nests, for baby pythons?

I am a 52 year old Primary School PE and School Sport Teacher and regularly play cricket, football and rugby with the 10 and 11 year old they tackle hard but I still tackle harder and no the parents really do not mind! - I give them the skills to make them better for when they go to high school I also make sure they can take the knocks because Yr11s like nothing better than fresh meat Yr7s for breakfast come September!!

B) Good to know I'm not the only teacher who visits this board!!! Friday cannot come quick enough. And 52 most certainly isn't old. Thought for the day: "Growing old is compulsory. Growing up is optional". I like it!!!!! B) B) B)
