Hello, I'm very new to Steve's music (apart from the old classics of course) and would like to post a little confession as to how I got here.

Tomorrow my husband and I celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I saw the Buxton gig advertised some months ago and knowing he was a big fan, decided to buy tickets. Sadly, (for some unknown reason) I often get Steve and Cockney Rebel mixed up with Eddie and the Hot Rods, and sadly, I did so in this instance. My husband is in fact a big fan of Eddie and the Hot Rods.

Now before anyone starts booing and hissing, we decided that, knowing at least 2 songs in Steve's back cagalogue, (we were those folks Steve mentioned from the stage!) and having the tickets that we would come along anyway.

Well, we were both absolutely blown away by last night's performance at Buxton Opera House. It was absolutely delightful to see the breadth of talent from both Steve and the other band members on what I can only describe as a voyage of discovery.

I'm looking forward to buying some of his back catalogue and re-living the songs we heard last night.

I hope I'm forgiven my initial mistake, and hope my story raises a smile or two, but it all's well that ends well!
