Hello All,
So it's Sunday evening. I don't have to work tomorrow and I'm enjoying a beer or three, playing some loud music as the wife is away visiting relatives, and I'm wondering what to play next.
Van Der Graaf Generator? (naaah..don't feel like prog rock right now).
Wishbone Ash? (naaah..saw 'em live so many times in the early 70's).
Gov't Mule? (naaah...just got into them and they are good but..).
Steve Gibbons Band? (naaah...but brilliant band...)
So I find the soundtrack to The Full Monty..have a look and track five is Cockney Rebel's Come Up and See Me... (yeah....that makes me feel good).
We have three Airedales and our first is Monty, named after The Full Monty,General Montgomery and Monty Python. Old fella's getting on a bit (like me) but has great taste in music (like me)
Time to go....
Be Seeing You.
Edit: So The Full Monty has ended, and Van Der Graaf Generator's live double cd "Vital" is now on. I know they are an acquired taste but...what a band.
Anyone like Gentle Giant's "In A Glass House"?
