Greetings.
Rachel has pointed me to the discussion regarding my attitude towards people. It's a shame one or three of you find me evasive and/or aloof. I am neither. Just a professional getting on with the job, really.
To show willing, as I usually do with patient, friendly fans and other strangers, here's what to do:
Enter a venue bang on opening-of-doors time.
Pass message to one of the crew or theatre staff who should be busying themselves, saying:
I'm Mike, or I'm Paul or I'm cockneyrebel1-who-got-let-down, and Steve says he will come out and meet me - even for a photo.
Ask them to take it to the Tour Manager, who will be forewarned, and will come to me.
And it shall be done. Promise.
I won't have much time. I'll be preparing for a concert performance which involves many routines and necessities.
And please leave it to another time if you have any hint of a cold or 'flu. He'll bar you before you get within 20 yeards of me!! (don't take offence; try to understand).
Have a nice weekend. I've been losing money at Royal Ascot, and hearing my PA's tale of woe with that thread, but my spirits remain high and intact.
