Cockneyr3bel - great choice !!! That's exactly what I'm feeling regarding Birmingham and Bed In The Corner will sound fantastic fully orchestrated live as well !!!

Cheers,
Snowy :)

Great idea for a post (ignoring the ugly bits).

How to choose?

"I can't get over my beginnings, I can't imagine my end" covers moments of doubt.

"My brains began to rattle, and drift away to a land of their own" covers blonde moments (there are many!)

But in the end I'd settle for "Simply now it's matter of time - everything is loose but soon
It will be fine". A chilled attitude kinda sees you through :)

Roll on Brum . . .
I'd hide if I could, but I'm red in a yellow sea . . .

"Nothing is sacred, it's everything else"

Pure existentialism.
Pure mystery.
Poetic mastery.

More from the same classic song:

"I wanna escape this wilderness I'm living in, I wanna be somebody's friend" - the loneliness of the long-distance rock star

"I could do with a little help, O Lord, and my heart cries out for love" - faultless philosophy you might agree.

JollyRoger, I agree..
How could anyone so young write
" I could do with a little help,oh Lord, and my heart cries out for Love" ?

But that's Timeless Flight for you,it's full of fantastic words and as you say "Poetic Mastery".Interesting that reviews of the album and the shows of the time hit on that theme as well.
Would be so great one day to hear Timeless Flight played live in full ;)

B) I agree Stewart. I'm probably repeating myself here, but Timeless Flight is by far my favourite album. For me, it's beyond poetry. All Men Are Hungry is the most amazing work, musically and lyrically. I would love to see the whole album performed love B)
