I believe Steve sang on an album called 'I Robot'. I actually don't think that he is a robot, hence will occasionally get the odd lyric wrong. This is what makes a live performance so good - and unique - and the way Steve handled those little incidents shows how professional he is.

We travelled down from the Scottish Borders for the Birmingham show and it was absolutely stunning. I'm not as old as some of you :P and only became a SH fan in my teens in the early 90s and it was wonderful to hear the songs I've played for 20 years complete with orchestra and choir.

I must admit I was close to tears on a couple of occasions such was the power of the evening. A great performance by all concerned and I'm so glad to hear that it was filmed and recorded. I'm also really pleased to hear that plans are afoot for a repeat or two next year.

Once again, a hugely memorable evening and a great many thanks to all involved.

Ritz, Death Trip, Sebastian...Chameleon! the music keeps haunting me. The orchestra...choir... wonderful. Steve's voice was never better. Goosebumps all over and tears in my eyes!

Still a few words of criticism on my part (at the risk of being crucified). I would have loved some of the songs, particularly the orchestral ones, extended: they were all so 'on the dot' - nothing added (all right: the Beyoncé hips were) so there was something obligatory about it; keeping the songs in the same order as on the albums added to that. As opposed to the introduction of Judy Teen, when you could feel excitement mounting. The Lartey sisters, cute as they may be, added absolutely nothing IMHO. But Steve Norman did - he turned Singular Band into another highlight and many other songs.
Just my two cents... :S

Royal Albert Hall?? Count me in! Meanwhile I'll cherish the memory of this evening.
