I think B.A. Robertson played on Big Big Deal. x

Phantom, Big, Big Deal , I believe was all just SH and Stuart Elliott, with SH playing the keyboard parts on Mellotron, an EMI Abbey Road fixture. I remember reading that B.A.Robinson played piano on Throw Your Soul Down Here. Herbie Flowers on bass guitar, SH guitar.I am happy to be corrected,but that's how I recall the events.

Reggie,Think your right about Big Big Deal ( love the longer version on Cavaliers).I heard that during that long tour in 1974 just before the split that Steve and Stuart were working on the track in the soundchecks?..Re Throw Your Soul Down Here not sure who played on the track although if pushed I'd have a stab at the line up that recorded Timeless Flight,and I'd link B.A and Herbie in the Rebel history to the long lost TOTP appearance of Mr Soft along with Steve,Stuart and Jim Cregan? Whoever played on it though did a great job..it's a superb track another of those great B sides that Harley released over the years!

Hello Jo,yes it was me in the row behind! and it was nice to say "Hello". Didn't we all have a great time and so much fun in our section of The Hall..but then again so did all the other 2000+ people there!! :)No I'm not going to The Stables next week,it's a terrific venue and hopefully you'll get there to enjoy another fantastic night
