Cheri,
Thanks for that!.
Check out the album Score some fantastic music on there. The album features other songs written by SH with lead vocals by John Wetton ( who also played with Roxy Music,King Crimson and Asia, I think!!)
When Score was released in 1977,it had some great radio adverts to push the album, and also was featured heavily on The Saturday Rock Show on BBC Radio 1 which was introduced by the legendary DJ Alan Freeman( who was a keen supporter of Steve/Cockney Rebel).
In April 1977 Duncan Mackay said on an interview on Manchester's Piccadilly Radio that on the next Cockney Rebel tour,he was to be the support act playing songs from Score and then Cockney Rebel would play the main show and Time is no healer would feature during Rebel's show.
Little did he know at that time that a couple of months later when the live album Face To Face was released that the band would break up and be no more!
Duncan would go on to join 10cc,and of course work with Steve on the brilliant Hobo With A Grin, and also on singles in the 1980's.
Loads of tracks from Score are on Youtube well worth checking out!
Maybe one day we will get to hear Time Is No Healer live - it's another great piece of music that deserves to be played live!
