Hi Cheri, I have never been able to upload a picture from my computer on to this site. I always have to upload it to my Photobucket account first and do it that way....even then it takes a few goes.
Photobucket, eh? Never heard of it, but I guess I'll be googling it straight away. Stella, can you recommend an affordable but good hotel in London? The hotel that Kathy and I stayed at the last two years went way up in price. And will you be at either The Stables concert or Bilston? Scott and I will be attending both. Would love to connect with you at some point during our stay. :D

Okay, let's see if this works. When I viewed the photo in photobucket, it only showed a cropped portion. Well, here goes. It's a picture of Scott and me on our wedding day. Some of you have already seen it on Facebook.

Hi Cheri, I have never stayed in a London Hotel (apart from one real flea-pit) so I wouldn't be able to recommend one, I'm afraid but maybe if you don't need to actually be in the heart of London it would be a good idea to stay on the outskirts somewhere? What dates are you after and how close do you need to be?
I won't be at Bilston or the Stables. I will be in the Somme in France from 26th October to 2nd November. I love it there. It's a shame I won't be around. It would have been nice to meet up.
Photobucket is great, isn't it? All you needed to do to share was choose the IMG link from photobucket (bottom of dropdown list) There you go

Lovely!!

Hi Cheri,

Ha! But I really think that for your next 'share' you should sing one of Steve's songs...

All good things,

Hi, Becky. :) No one can sing Steve's songs like Steve himself, so I wouldn't even try. Although at my recent wedding, my husband and I sang "A Friend For Life." Scott (my husband) practiced that song for MONTHS to be able to play it for me at the wedding. In the end, we sang it together.

Also, our first dance was to "Journey's End" and the final song of the evening was "The Best Years of Our Lives." :) We had plenty of Steve Harley songs that day. Had to. Steve is an important part of my life. Can't explain even to myself what makes him so compelling, but I've travelled great distances twice just to hear him sing and play. And I'm doing it again. We leave next week to spend four days in Canada, then fly non-stop from Calgary to London to spend two weeks for our honeymoon. Had to come see Steve again. It can't go on forever, but for now I'm just excited to experience that feeling of PURE JOY listening to Steve and the band. They are unique and there is no one like them. :)
